Elizabeth Seger
research Assistant
Elizabeth is a Research Assistant on LCFI's Global AI Narratives project and a PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science where she is researching the ethics and philosophy of AI. Elizabeth aims to help guide the development of safe and effective human-AI collaborations for the improvement of healthcare and the empowerment of patients and medical professionals.
In addition to her PhD research, Elizabeth organises the annual Building Bridges in Medical Science conference held at the University of Cambridge, and supervises Cambridge medical students in medical ethics and sociology of medicine. Elizabeth holds an MPhil in Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Molecular Biology and Bioethics from UCLA.
